The ½ûÂþÌìÌà Language Partners are advanced or native speakers who tutor and guide undergraduate students of The Claremont Colleges with their language study. We offer tutoring for Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Persian, Russian, Spanish, and Swahili.
Language Partners can help with:
- Understanding grammar points
- Practicing for an oral presentation
- Language study skills
- Improving your general language skills
Drop-in hours are offered every Monday, Wednesday, Sunday from 7-8pm, no appointment needed. Check our scheduler for instructions on how to book appointments.
Language Partners also attend Language Tables several times a week to provide extra support for language beginners. Beginner day is Wednesday.
Fall 2024 Update
Tutoring will begin on Monday, September 9. All in person appointments take place at the FLRC (Mason 101) but you will have the option for online appointments as well. You can coordinate a time directly with one of the partners, go to the scheduler to find contact information.
