Tomorrow is August, which means it鈥檚 move-in month! So please make sure you go through the To Do and complete everything you need 鈥 especially uploading medical records.

This week鈥檚 鈥渢hings鈥:

  • Online Orientation is next Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7 from 9:00 am 鈥 Noon. Here is the Zoom link, and 鈥淐hirp!鈥 is the password. The sessions are required but will be recorded to watch later, as well.
  • If you haven鈥檛 started yet, now鈥檚 the time to start reading Afterparties, which was mailed to you in June*. This week, meet your fellow first-years at a led by current students from the . Talk about favorite stories from the book before the faculty and staff-led seminar discussions during orientation week. The first is tomorrow, August 1st , at 1 pm PDT with sophomores Hlib and Sebastian. Check out the Orientation Book website for background resources that will enrich your experience of the book鈥攆rom short videos about the Cambodian Genocide, to interviews, to the award-winning documentary 鈥.鈥
  • Interested in joining the 禁漫天堂 Choir or other performing groups through the music department? We鈥檝e added that information to the orientation schedule. You can also get a sneak peek at the schedule for advising and course registration.

And a BONUS 4th thing:

  • Here is a link to the , which you were also emailed separately. This folder includes a collection of PDFs intended to help you navigate the registration process and navigating general education requirements. You should refer to them as useful resources during your time at Pomona.

If you haven鈥檛 completed items such as the online alcohol or sexual assault prevention modules, uploading medical documents, or downloading your copy of the Orientation Book Our Missing Hearts, today would be a great time to do that. And, as always, check the archive for information you may have missed.
